The graveyard was quiet, too quiet for his taste. The middle of winter was upon his country, but the silence made memories come back.
[Name]...his beloved [name].
At first, she was just a friend, an employee to him. Slowly, she chipped away his stoic exterior, falling in love with him. He fell in love with her in return.
She wasn't very rich but she was hardworking and dependable. She was a no-nonsense kind of person. She lived with a couple of cats, one looked quite close to him and the other was a lot like her. Nevertheless, it was those two cats that sparked the romance between him and [name].
They had been going out for two years when something horrid happened, something he didn't like remembering.
It was a snowy night, much like this one. They were walking across the street, her giggles echoed in his mind. He had just proposed to her and she said yes. Suddenly, a tire shriek and she pushed him away, to the sidewalk. Her [eye color] eyes glittered with sadness just moments before they were replaced by inky black. Her broken body lay on the side of the road as the black sports car sped off in the distance, he thought of how cowardly the driver was for not manning up to the incident. She was rushed to the hospital, him following in the hopes she would live.
She died a few days later of her injuries.
Netherlands felt tears streaming down his eyes. No amount of compensation would ever bring her back. Nothing would bring her back. He held the ivory box in his hand, the ring inside. He opened the box, revealing a white gold ring embedded with diamonds in the shape of a tulip. He closed the box and pocketed it. He glanced at his own ring, white gold with the engraving of a tulip.
"I love you [name] and I always will." He murmured quietly. He turned and left the graveyard to his home. A few weeks ago, he took all of her possessions and brought them to his place, including her cats. The place itself had been sold, but the money was sent towards her funeral. As he walked back home, the snow fell harder, covering the city in a blanket of snow. His place was only a mile away, so he didn't have to walk too far but the walk felt endless. He was lost within his memories, remembering the times he had with her. He could clearly see her beautiful [eye color] orbs, glittering happily in the sunlight. When he got home, he was met by his cat, sitting on the couch quietly. A soft mewl took his attention. He closed the door and took off his coat, curious to find the source as quickly as possible. He searched and found that the female cat, HER cat, had given birth to five little kittens. A soft smile creased his face.
Her last gift to him.

You looked over to the blonde who was seated next to you. You were currently both waiting for the other countries to get to the conference room. An awkward silence lay in the air. Abel toke a breath from his pipe, breathed out, and then repeated. You had no idea on what to say. Ever since his younger sister, Bella, had died (apparently it was from a natural disaster, but no one was really sure), he had been so..distant. You squeaked when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Looking over, you saw Abel's emerald green eyes on you. "Y..yes?" You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering.

Ludwig growled in annoyance at the sight of that idiotic Spaniard with her. After a stupid fight, [Name] had broken up with him and left his life forever. Though, Ludwig had a feeling she never even loved him. Whenever they were together, she would be staring off into space and sometimes right out ignored him. Whenever they kissed, she'd recoil a bit. It always got Ludwig thinking; Was he not good enough? He looked down at his h

"That's so cute Ice!" The Danish man yelled out before taking another sip of the amber alcoholic beverage,"I think it's funny that everyone agrees to liking _______, except for one of us." His blue eyes darted towards the tall figure in the background.
Sweden had been standing completely still, holding a completely unphased expression throughout this conversation,"I have a wife." With that, he turned and left the room.
"S-su?"Finland asked in a confused voice.
